Shawn Booth addresses ‘painful’ breakup from Kaitlyn Bristowe

Shawn Booth thanked fans for their support Monday, following his split from former “Bachelorette” Kaitlyn Bristowe.

“I just want to thank everyone who has been so supportive of my relationship with Kaitlyn over the years,” Booth, 31, wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of the former couple outside “Good Morning America” in Times Square three years ago.

“You’ve made me feel incredibly special, supported, and very loved. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you. It truly means a lot,” the personal trainer continued.

Booth popped the question to Bristowe, 33, with a dazzling Neil Lane diamond ring during the Season 11 finale of “The Bachelorette” in 2015. They officially parted ways earlier this month.

“After three incredible years, we have decided to go our separate ways,” Booth and Bristowe told Page Six in a statement. “This difficult decision comes after thoughtful, respectful consideration. Even though we are parting as a couple, we’re very much committed to remaining friends.”

Bristowe, who hosts the “Off The Vine” podcast, addressed breakup rumors back in October in a since-deleted Instagram post.

“For anyone going through a bit of a challenge right now, just know that it’s temporary and that this too shall pass and that we’re all gonna be OK. And social media is clearly, as I always say, a highlight reel,” she said, according to Us Weekly.

Booth added that he is grateful for all of the well-wishes he has received during this “painful” time.

“Thank you to everyone who has sent their love & support,” he shared. “I love you guys.”
