Even Jen Atkin has trouble getting beauty products through TSA

As a woman perpetually on the go, Jen Atkin knows a thing or two about how to travel without totally losing your mind.

“I always bring slippers I steal from hotels [and] comfy socks. I am obsessed with the Bose Sleepbuds to help me sleep, and my Slip silk pillowcase to make the flight as cozy as possible,” the hairstylist — whose celebrity clients include Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Chrissy Teigen and both Gigi and Bella Hadid — told Page Six Style.

Atkin, who recently teamed up with suitcase brand Calpak on a line of luggage “created with the best possible wheels, zippers and handles we could find,” said her famous jet-setting clients have also taught her “that jet lag is a state of mind and coffee is your best friend.”

The hair guru added that “it’s helpful to have TSA PreCheck to expedite everything” — although that hasn’t stopped airport security from tragically tossing her (legal in California) Dosist pens and some of her Ouai products.

But Atkins’ number-one trick for making everything go more smoothly while on the road is actually something everyone has in their kitchen.

“Ziploc bags are lifesavers for leaky bottles,” she explained. “I try to also use travel-size bottles whenever possible so that if I do have a spill, the cleanup isn’t as bad.”

Because when Bella Hadid is waiting for her blowout, there’s no time to cry over spilled Ouai.
