Liam Hemsworth says wedding to Miley Cyrus was ‘spur of the moment’

Although weddings can take months or even more than a year to plan, Liam Hemsworth said his nuptials to Miley Cyrus came together rather quickly.

“It wasn’t hard,” he quipped to Extra over the weekend. “We have a small group of friends. It was mainly immediate family, a spur-of-the-moment kind of thing.”

Hemsworth and Cyrus, 29 and 26 respectively, tied the knot in late December.

The couple posted snaps to Instagram that sparked rumors. They were issued a wedding license in Tennessee on December 18.

“I am very happy to be where I am,” Hemsworth said of married life.

Despite being together nearly 10 years, Hemsworth said being married feels “the same but different.”

The couple made their first public appearance together as man and wife on Saturday.
