Justin Bieber’s birthday named National Hotel Slipper Day

The only thing Justin Bieber loves more than his wife, Hailey Baldwin? His ever-growing collection of hotel slippers.

There’s nowhere the pop star, 24, won’t wear his disposable footwear, from strolls along the beach to long walks in the rain. And now, his passion for house shoes is getting its own official holiday.

In honor of Bieber’s 25th birthday on March 1, Hotels.com has announced they will be giving the “Sorry” singer the gift of a lifetime, officially registering his birthday as “National Hotel Slipper Day” via the National Day Archives.

In the press release for the announcement, Hotels.com explained that it chose to bestow this particular present upon Bieber “to thank him for his passion over the years for rocking hotel slippers in any capacity and giving them a platform to shine.”

While Bieber recently upgraded to a fancier $1,520 mink pair made by Louis Vuitton, he loves the original style so much, he even designed his own iteration for his new fashion label, House of Drew.
