Mom’s online behavior raises more questions about Britney Spears’ mental health

Britney Spears’ mom continues to fan the flame of hysteria over the star’s mental health with cryptic online behavior.

We reported that as fans searched for answers about the “Toxic” singer’s admittance into a ­mental-health facility, Lynne Spears whipped them into a frenzy by liking Instagram comments from fans, such as, “I really hope you are supporting Britney in trying to end [her] conservatorship. I really hope your ailing ex husband isn’t keeping your daughter somewhere against her will.”

Lynne also liked another fan’s comment requesting that people listen to a “special emergency episode” of fan podcast, “Britney’s Gram,” that claims the singer entered a mental-health institute months ago against her will.

The podcast released a voicemail purported to be from a paralegal who claimed to have worked on her conservatorship.

“Britney has been in the mental facility since mid-January,” said the supposed paralegal, adding, “There is no end date particularly in sight for this stay at this mental facility to end. She did not want to go.”

Spears’ father, Jamie, has been the singer’s conservator since 2008.

The star’s rep did not get back to us.
