Engaged Jennifer Lawrence, ex Nicholas Hoult giggly at ‘Dark Phoenix’ premiere

Jennifer Lawrence was talking up fiancé Cooke Maroney at the “Dark Phoenix” premiere on Tuesday, but she was hanging out with her ex-boyfriend and now-pal Nicholas Hoult at the event.

The former couple, who have remained friends since breaking up, reunited at their film’s premiere and looked overjoyed to see each other. Photographers snapped Lawrence, 28, and Hoult, 29, laughing and smiling with each other as they celebrated their latest superhero collaboration.

After meeting on the set of “X-Men” in 2010, the Oscar-winning actress and Hoult dated for a couple of years before calling it quits in 2013. They ultimately got back together and dated until they broke up for good in 2014. They cited busy schedules as the cause of the split.

Lawrence went on to date director Darren Aronofsky before meeting art gallerist Maroney. At the premiere, she described her fiancé as the “best person” she’s ever met.

“Well, he’s just the best person I’ve ever met in my whole life,” Lawrence told “Entertainment Tonight” when asked how she knew Maroney was “the one.”

Of accepting his marriage proposal in February, she added: “It was a very easy, easy decision.”
