Taylor Swift and Katy Perry end feud with cookies

Katy Perry and Taylor Swift aren’t breaking bread, they’re crumbling cookies instead.

On Tuesday, the “Never Really Over” crooner, 34, shared a photo featuring baked treats on Instagram, with the words “peace at last” decorated across the plate.

“Feels good @taylorswift,” Perry captioned the image, to which Swift replied with 13 heart emojis, the “ME!” singer’s favorite number. Perry also added the snap’s location as “Let’s Be Friends.”

Tensions between the two pop stars have long been documented, as Swift, 29, famously hinted at Perry during a 2014 interview with Rolling Stone, revealing a rival inspired her song “Bad Blood.”

“For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not,” Swift said at the time. “She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?’ [In 2013] she did something so horrible. I was like, ‘Oh, we’re just straight-up enemies.’ … She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me … I don’t think there would be any personal problem if she weren’t competitive.”

Though Perry fired back with a critical single of her own, 2017’s “Swish Swish,” the singer later stated she was ready to put the past behind her.

“I’m ready to let it go. Absolutely, 100 percent,” Perry said on Arianna Huffington’s “Thrive Global Podcast” in 2017. “I forgive her, and I’m sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her, and I think it’s actually … I think it’s time.”

On the opening night of Swift’s “Reputation” stadium tour last summer, Perry gifted the singer an olive branch, along with a note that appeared to read: “I’ve been doing some thinking on past miscommunications and feelings between us and wanted to clear the air.”

Fans can now collectively hold their breaths in hopes of a dream collaboration between Swift and Perry.
