Heidi Klum planning epic Halloween couples costume with husband Tom Kaulitz

Heidi Klum is the queen of Halloween, and this year will be no different.

The “America’s Got Talent” host, 46, plans to celebrate the 20-year anniversary of her legendary Halloween party by sporting an elaborate couples costume with new husband Tom Kaulitz.

“I’m gonna have a hard time walking, and it’ll take a really long time,” Klum told People of this year’s outfit, also revealing that it will take her 10 hours to put on ahead of the party.

“[Tom’s] is gonna be easier [than mine this year] because last year I felt so bad for him,” she continued. “He had never done this before, and it was harder for him than for me because he had the big belly and the face. I’m used to it, but he was like, ‘Oh my god, I’m gonna die! It’s so hot!'”

Despite the uncomfortable costume, Klum said the Tokio Hotel singer was in fact happy with his Shrek getup and is looking forward to many more years of epic matching outfits. “He loved it,” she said. “He’s just as nuts as me, but I had to come up with something a little easier for him to wear this time around.”

In 2018, the then-engaged couple wowed in their over-the-top Shrek and Princess Fiona costumes, arriving in an onion carriage while “I’m a Believer” by Smash Mouth played. At the time, she said the prosthetic face, hands and feet took nine hours to put on.

Past couples costumes with Klum’s ex-husband Seal included a pair of apes and Eve with the apple of temptation (the “Fly Like an Eagle” singer was dressed as Eve). Since then, some of her solo costumes have included Jessica Rabbit, a skinned cadaver and an old lady.

The supermodel’s annual party is always the highlight of fall, with celebrity guests including Bella Hadid, Lupita Nyong’o, Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin and many more.

One can only imagine what over-the-top costumes Klum is cooking up this time.
