We tried Tracee Ellis Ross’ Pattern hair care products

Tracee Ellis Ross delighted fans when she launched Pattern, a hair care line “specifically for curly, coily and tight-textured hair” in September.

The “Black-ish” actress, 46, worked with chemists for two years perfecting the products to ensure they deliver the right amount of moisture, releasing several products, as well as travel-sized versions and accessories such as combs as part of phase one of the launch.

“Many of us can chronicle the journey of our self-acceptance through the journey of our hair,” Ross said at the time of release.

We had two Post staffers test out products, including the hydration shampoo ($20) and leave-in conditioner ($25) — and give their honest opinions.
