Rihanna and Drake reunite at rapper’s birthday celebration

Please don’t stop the music, but exes Rihanna and Drake just reunited.

The “Love on the Brain” singer was spotted at an early celebration for Drake’s 33rd birthday at LA hot spot Poppy on Monday night.

“Rihanna made an appearance and stayed for several hours. She was with two girlfriends and was escorted to Drake’s table by security,” a source told E! News. “Her and Drake were talking for a while and were smiling and laughing. It seemed like a very pleasant interaction and they looked like they were having fun together as friends.”

The birthday boy had a huge smile on his face when he saw Rihanna, 31, according to the site, and she “seemed to be in a good mood.”

Rihanna was also spotted hanging out with “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star Lyrica Anderson, who posted an Instagram story with Rihanna at the bash.

Drake spent the night drinking bottles of his Mod Sélection Champagne and he even ordered a giant supply of McDonald’s french fries and chicken nuggets for his crew to enjoy.

The party reportedly lasted until around 5 a.m.

Rihanna and Drake have a long history together, from Drake confessing his love for the R&B singer at the 2016 VMAs and multiple song collaborations, to breaking up and Rihanna telling Vogue in 2018 that they “don’t have a friendship now.”

Rihanna is currently dating billionaire Saudi businessman Hassan Jameel.

Meanwhile, it appears the “Nonstop” singer is single at the moment, though he does share son Adonis with former porn star Sophie Brussaux.
