Maluma and model Natalia Barulích break up after two years of dating
Maluma and Natalia Barulích have broken up after two years together, Page Six can confirm.
“I love Juan Luis (Maluma) very much but right now we need to take time for ourselves and our careers so that we can continue to grow as artists and individuals,” Barulích, 27, said in an exclusive statement in which she refers to the Colombian reggaeton artist by his real name.
Maluma, 25, met the California-born model when she starred in his “Felices los 4” music video shoot in 2017.
The couple appeared strong even when Maluma performed at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards and kissed one of his backup dancers onstage.
Barulích told TMZ at the time, “I spoke to him about his performance, and I said, ‘It’s the VMAs. Anything goes, and you have to make this an unforgettable performance,’ and he did just that.”
She added, “I didn’t know about the kiss, and do I want my boyfriend kissing women in front of the whole world? No, but he is Maluma and he is also Juan Luis … and my boyfriend is Juan Luis.”
In August, the model posted a photo of the pair hanging out together in Los Angeles.
But by October, Maluma was spotted with another model: Winnie Harlow. A source told us Maluma and Harlow, 25, were “dancing closely” at New York nightclub Up & Down after his concert at Madison Square Garden.
Earlier this week, the pair dined at Latin restaurant Blend in Long Island City with a group of friends.
Harlow further fueled romance rumors on Thursday by commenting with a heart-eye emoji under Maluma’s shirtless Instagram post.
But a source told us they’re “just close friends.”
Another insider told Page Six on Friday that the singer is “completely single.”
Maluma’s rep declined to comment.
