Miley Cyrus will soon be giving us all the silent treatment.

The singer, 26, recently underwent vocal cord surgery after being hospitalized for tonsillitis last month, People reports.

Doctors discovered a separate issue with her vocal cords during her hospital stay, informing the “Wrecking Ball” singer that she would need surgery by the end of the year, followed by “several weeks of silence” while in recovery.

A source close to the start said she is “doing great and will be back and better than ever early next year.”

Boyfriend Cody Simpson posted a photo with his latest love that appeared to make reference to the surgery, captioning the pic “success.”
