Travis Scott’s Art Basel afterparty draws A-list crowd
MIAMI — As art world insiders began to trickle out of Miami, partiers flocked to Travis Scott’s Art Basel afterparty performance at the h.Wood Groups’ Bootsy Bellows pop-up at E11even on Friday.
The “Sicko Mode” rapper hit the club’s DJ booth around 3:30 a.m. to perform to the sold-out club.
Scott, 28, asked that clubgoers put down their phones and get a drink in their hand or “go home” and then performed a few hit songs including “Zeze” and “Highest in The Room.”
Among the A-listers in the crowd were Kendall Jenner, Winnie Harlow, ASAP Rocky, Nelly, Kehlani, Alesso, rappers City Girls, “Jersey Shore” stars Vinny Guadagnino and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Larsa Pippen, Foodgod, Young Jeezy, and more.
The stars were seen partying in the VIP area and sipping E11even vodka until around 6 a.m.
Scott seems to bring the party-crowd with him wherever he goes as he was seen with a slew of celebs earlier in the evening at the SHABBAAAAA x Playboy pop-up at Nautilus by Arlo, an insider told Page Six.
Meanwhile, several art enthusiasts seemed to have no clue who the rapper was. When Scott hit the Art Basel Miami VIP preview earlier this week, numerous attendees were overheard asking who he was and why young folks were snapping pics.
We exclusively reported Scott was seen eyeing a $225,000 painting of Krusty the Clown by Tom Sachs.
