Meghan Markle was already getting back to her American roots with a Disney voiceover deal ahead of the couple’s extraordinary “Megxit” announcement last week.

Markle, who worked as an actress before she married Prince Harry in May 2018, recorded a voiceover for the entertainment behemoth before the family’s six-week-long holiday in Canada, The Times reported.

In exchange, the company will donate to Elephants Without Borders, an anti-poaching and preservation organization.

The Duchess’ Disney deal was revealed days after the couple’s Wednesday declaration that they would step back from their official royal duties, but keep their titles.

Royal watchers speculated if this is the couple’s first step in moving away from traditional royal duties — and cashing in on their title.

The Sussexes also trademarked “Sussex Royal” last summer, allowing them to hawk goods from notebooks and mugs to clothing and promotional campaigns.

The pair have interacted with Disney publicly throughout the past year. When their son Archie was born in May, the company gifted them a Winnie the Pooh cartoon featuring the new family.

Later in the year, Harry and Meghan walked the “Lion King” film red carpet, where she dished on royal life to singer Pharrell Williams, telling him, “they don’t make it easy.”
