Eva Amurri gives birth to third child with soon-to-be ex-husband Kyle Martino

Eva Amurri and Kyle Martino have welcomed their third child together — amid their divorce.

Baby boy Mateo Antoni Martino was born Friday afternoon, Amurri, 34, announced in a weekly newsletter for her lifestyle website Happily Eva After.

“He arrived safely & sweetly at home, March 13th at 3:58pm, weighing 7 lbs 11 oz and 21 inches long,” she wrote, adding, “Our hearts are so full! Thank you for the well wishes, and I look forward to sharing more soon!”

Ahead of the birth, Amurri — who is already mom to 5-year-old daughter named Marlowe Mae and a 3-year-old son named Major James —announced that she’d planned a home birth with a midwife.

She also admitted that she was unsure how co-parenting a newborn in the middle of her divorce from Martino, 39, was going to work.

“We will be learning as we go, and like with anything else we are experiencing in the co-parenting realm, I will be sharing my thoughts and advice as I get more experience and feel I have something valuable to share,” she wrote in a newsletter. “Beyond that, I really don’t feel able to comment on something I’ve never done!”

Amurri, the daughter of Susan Sarandon, announced she was expecting a baby in September 2019 and announced her split from Martino just two months later.

“Our family is starting down a new path,” they announced in a joint statement after eight years of marriage. “After a lot of thoughtful consideration, and work on our relationship, we have made the difficult decision to lovingly part ways as a couple.”

Later that week, Amurri posted that the former soccer player was moving out of their house.

She wrote, “It really doesn’t matter how good of friends you are and how ‘right’ the decision is — there are moments in the process of a divorce that are just absolutely brutal for the soul and very scary as a newly single mom of almost 3 kids.” By December, she had updated her website bio to “single mom.”
