Miley Cyrus gives boyfriend Cody Simpson a quarantine makeover

Miley Cyrus is brushing up on her makeup skills while self-quarantining at home — with a little help from Cody Simpson.

The “Slide Away” singer, 27, spent her Easter Sunday applying bold red lipstick, mascara, eyeshadow and highlighter to her boyfriend’s face, with both sharing snaps of the process on Instagram.

“I. Beat. That. Face.,” Cyrus captioned one shot of Simpson, 23, showing off her handiwork; “Self love and confidence,” she wrote atop another clip of herself brushing mascara onto the poet’s lashes.

Both stars also shared a teaser clip originally posted on fashion photographer Mert Alas’ Instagram Story that reads, “quarantine days, coming soon,” suggesting that photos of a glammed-up Simpson and his Grammy-nominated girlfriend might be part of a larger project.

It’s far from the first time Cyrus has tinkered with Simpson’s appearance; just last week, she shaved his shaggy hair into a sleek buzzcut, and similarly documented the process on social media.
