Brooklyn Decker admits she wears incontinence underwear
Brooklyn Decker isn’t holding anything back.
Since childbirth the former Sports Illustrated model has been forced to use incontinence underwear during her period, she revealed Sunday on Instagram.
“If you don’t want to talk about periods keep scrolling. I don’t know why I’m putting this out there publicly but wtf happens post-children that makes … well … let’s just say I am now in the depends-wearing stage of my period,” the 33-year-old captioned a photo in which she is wearing a pair of Depends underwear, which are designed to provide bladder leakeage protection.
The “Just Go With It” actress has been married to tennis champ Andy Roddick since 2009. They share son, Hank, 4, and daughter, Stevie, 2.
According to Dr. Amina White, a clinical associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of North Carolina, via Parents.com, a marked change in menstrual flow post-childbirth can be common. Decker is known for being outspoken on social media.
In February, Decker slammed a Twitter user who criticized her body.
“For the umpteenth time — because people love to comment on my body (or lack thereof) my children sucked the life out of my body and left behind a bag of bones,’ she wrote. “I don’t know what else to tell you. I miss my boobs too — I don’t even know what to call them now.”
