Khloé Kardashian ‘hasn’t stopped crying’ since ‘KUWTK’ ending announcement
Khloé Kardashian is having a rough time following the news that “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” is coming to an end.
When asked by Ryan Seacrest who took the news the hardest, Kris Jenner revealed it was the 36-year-old Good American founder.
“We had to tell the crew yesterday, so we were all crying, but I think Khloé,” Jenner, 64, shared on Seacrest’s radio show this week. “[Khloé] is the one who is taking it the hardest and hasn’t stopped crying since we announced. … It’s been a hard decision; I’m not going to lie. It’s been very emotional.”
The momager told Seacrest — who is executive producer of the show — that the family is going to take a beat to figure out their “next steps.”
“I think the number 20 used to sound good until 2020, but the number 20 just seemed like the right time I think for us to take a minute and breathe and everybody slow down a bit,” she said of ending the E! reality series after 20 seasons. “Figure out what our next steps are.”
The Kardashian-Jenner’s next steps could be a streaming service, Page Six exclusively reported.
“There’s more money in streaming,” a source told us. “And it’s global.”
The media move could be a result of E! not being able to afford the multimillion-dollar paychecks the family once received from the NBCUniversal-owned network. Their final contract was worth $150 million.
E! and NBCUniversal were hit hard financially by the pandemic, resulting in layoffs and numerous canceled shows, including E!’s titular news show, “E! News.”
