Meghan Markle’s pinky ring is a custom Lorraine Schwartz design

Meghan Markle’s new pinky ring is a mystery no more.

When the Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry posed for a new portrait last week, Markle was pictured wearing a gold Cartier “Love” bracelet ($6,900) and a matching Tank Française watch from the jeweler.

Of course, she also sported her famous three-stone engagement ring, but there was also a new diamond ring on display that sparked speculation from royal watchers, who thought it could even be Diana’s famous aquamarine ring that Markle wore at her wedding reception and on tour to Australia.

Page Six has now been told that the brunette, in fact, turned to celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz to fashion the ring from a gift of diamonds that the couple received from the Middle East.

While Schwartz declined to comment, we’re also told that she made diamond earrings from the same set.

It’s not the first time that the Sussexes have turned to Schwartz for some sparkle. Harry helped create a bespoke diamond eternity ring with the jeweler as a gift to mark the couple’s first wedding anniversary, which featured birthstones for himself, Markle and their baby son, Archie.

The prince also took the opportunity to have Schwartz resize and reset Meghan’s engagement ring — which features two stones that once belonged to Diana — with a new delicate diamond band.

Markle also owns a pair of emerald-cut diamond studs by the jeweler that she’s worn on multiple occasions.

While it was also speculated that Markle was wearing Diana’s iconic gold Cartier Tank Française watch in the photo, a source confirmed that it was the mom of one’s own watch.

The new black-and-white shot, taken by LA-based entertainment photographer Matt Sayles, was taken to promote a Time 100 talk that Markle and Harry will lead on Tuesday — and recreated their engagement portrait.

Called “Engineering a Better World,” the talk will feature several movers and shakers, like Reddit founder and friend Alexis Ohanian, the husband of Serena Williams.

The new virtual hosting gig is one of many taken on by the Sussexes. For the past few months, they’ve been participating in virtual talks from their new California home.
