Meghan and Harry skip out on watching all of Oprah interview

Meghan and Harry skip out on watching all of Oprah interview

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry didn’t watch all of their blockbuster Oprah Winfrey interview Sunday night, and only caught a few snippets at most, sources told Page Six.

“I know they won’t have watched the full thing,” one source said.

Winfrey told her BFF Gayle King on “CBS This Morning” that she and Meghan texted each other as the show aired on the East Coast — and watchers were hearing Meghan and Harry make stunning claims of cruelty and racism against the royal family.

Winfrey said that, at the time of the text, Meghan hadn’t seen the show at all, as it had not yet year been aired in California.

“I got a text from Meghan yesterday, saying, ‘How’s it going?’ she said.

“Because she was putting Archie to bed and waiting on the West Coast feed and had no idea what was happening.”

Winfrey added: “And I said, ‘I don’t either, from what I can tell it’s going well, I know it’s airing.’ So I will probably have a conversation with them later today.”

Sources later confirmed to The Post that they only wound up watching “parts” of the show.

Initial figures reveal that more than 17 million viewers tuned into the astonishing interview.

The Sussexes, who are at home in Montecito, Calif., are believed to be in good spirits in the wake of letting off such a major media bombshell, we’re told.

One insider who knows the couple said: “Everything they said remains true now as it was when they were back in the UK.”

The couple did not have a say in any questions — and nothing was off the table, we’re told, even though royal commentators have asked why Winfrey did not ask about Prince Andrew and his relationship with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, nor go into any lengthy detail about Markle’s childhood and relationship with her parents.
