Lady Gaga and Adam Driver spotted filming ‘House of Gucci’ in Italy
Lady Gaga and Adam Driver are looking pretty Gucci.
The pair were spotted in Italy Wednesday dressed in late 20th Century period costumes as they filmed the new fashion, greed and murder flick, “House of Gucci.”
In the photos, Gaga, 34, ditched her signature blonde locks for a brown wig to get into the role of notorious “Black Widow” Patrizia Reggiani, who arranged the murder of her fashion mogul ex-husband, Maurizio Gucci, in 1995.
Driver, who plays the doomed Gucci, can be seen in the pics on the set Wednesday near Festa del Perdono talking with his pop queen co-star and the film’s director, Ridley Scott.
The picture is based on Sara Gay Forden’s book “The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed,” and is set to be released in November.
Jeremy Irons, Jared Leto and Al Pacino are also set to star in the flick.
The “Pokerface” singer was seen getting into character during a walk while surrounded by several members of the production crew.
Meanwhile, Driver was photographed also taking his role very seriously. He appeared stern, wearing a beige trench coat, button-down shirt, sweater and glasses.
However, the co-stars did find time to share a laugh. Gaga and Driver were photographed giggling in between takes with some members of production and Scott — who directed classics like “Thelma and Louise” and “Gladiator.”
Earlier this week, the pair shared the first photo of themselves from the set of their new movie, sparking lots of conversation on social media about their glamorous costumes.
Many people who commented on the picture predicted that the crime drama will earn award show nominations, commenting, “And the oscar goes to..” and “FUTURE OSCAR WINNER.”
After the tragic dognapping of her beloved French bulldogs and shooting of her dog-walker, Ryan Fischer, last month, Gaga appears better able to focus on her new film now that her pets have been recovered and her friend is on the mend.
The award-winning actress was said to be “beside herself” while in Rome for this movie at the time of the robbery.
