Clive Davis bumps into Patti LaBelle while out in Miami

Bell’s Palsy forced music legend Clive Davis to reschedule one of his pre-Grammy bashes, but the diagnosis isn’t keeping him from having fun.

Davis recently ran into powerhouse singer Patti LaBelle at the Watr at the Rooftop Restaurant at the 1 Hotel in Miami. “They bumped into each other and everyone went crazy over them talking … people pulled out their phones trying to take snaps of the duo,” a spy told Page Six.

Davis has also been spotted at other Miami hotspots, including Prime 112. A source close to Davis told us he is almost fully recovered from his bout with Bell’s Palsy.

“He’s feeling great and he’s getting ready to start pre-production for part two of his gala,” they said.

Davis, 88, planned to host two virtual galas in place of his annual live pre-Grammys bash due to the pandemic.

He held the first gala last month, and Nancy Pelosi, John Legend, Diddy and Gayle King were among thousands who attended the five-hour Zoom party.

Cardi B, Cyndi Lauper, Megan Thee Stallion and Quincy Jones are some of the names who had RSVP’d for the second party, which was meant to take place on March 13.

It’s the first time in 45 years of hosting the event that Davis has had to postpone.
