Beyoncé sends Taylor Swift flowers to celebrate Grammys 2021 win
Could a collaboration be next?
Beyoncé sent Taylor Swift flowers on Friday to congratulate the “willow” singer on her 2021 Grammy award for Album of the Year.
“Woke up to flowers from the queen of grace & greatness @beyonce and suddenly it’s the best Friday EVER,” Swift, 31, captioned a photo of the bouquet and a handwritten note from the “Black Parade” singer, 39.
“Taylor, Congratulations on your Grammy,” the note read. “It was great seeing you on Sunday night. Thank you for always being so supportive. Sending love to you and your family. B.”
Swift added that her cat, Olivia Benson, also loved the flowers.
Swift also congratulated Beyoncé — who became the most decorated woman in Grammys history over the weekend after taking home four awards.
“Thank you B and congratulations on your epic achievement Sunday night!!” Swift wrote.
Swift and Beyoncé’s friendship was rumored to have blossomed back in 2014 when they celebrated the “Love Story” singer’s 25th birthday.
On Sunday, Swift — who donned in a ethereal floral dress — thanked her longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn in her acceptance speech.
“Joe, who is the first person that I play every single song that I write,” she said. “I had the best time writing songs with you in quarantine.”
Meanwhile, Beyoncé called her historic win “overwhelming,” while thanking her children and her husband Jay-Z, calling him her “rock.”
“I’ve been working my whole life since 9 years old and I can’t believe this happened. This is such a magical night,” Bey said.
