Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle both love Veja sneakers

Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle may not see eye to eye on flower girl dresses, but they’re both fans of the same stylish and sustainable sneakers.

During her royal tour of Scotland with Prince William last week, the Duchess of Cambridge, 39, swapped her go-to Superga trainers for a fresh pair from Veja.

Middleton paired the brand’s “Esplar” sneakers ($120) with a black double-breasted Holland Cooper blazer ($778), matching trousers and a striped cashmere Erdem sweater ($895) for a May 26 visit to St. Andrews — the university where she and William, 38, first met and fell in love.

Her sister-in-law, the Duchess of Sussex, previously wore Veja “V-10” sneakers ($150) with Outland Denim “Harriet” jeans ($190) and a windbreaker for the 2018 Invictus Games in Australia.

Thanks to the “Meghan Effect,” searches for the shoes promptly spiked by over 300 percent following her endorsement, according to fashion search engine Love the Sales.

But while Markle, 39, may have single-handedly introduced tons of shoppers to the brand, Veja’s got plenty of other famous fans; Katie Holmes, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Garner and Emily Ratajkowski are just a few of the stars who reach for the Brazil-made kicks time and time again.
