Kardashian-Jenners won’t be having annual Christmas bash due to COVID
Kris-mas is looking different this year.
The Kardashian-Jenner family reportedly won’t be having their annual star-studded Christmas Eve bash this year, yet again, over Coronavirus concerns amid the spreading of the Omicron variant.
A source told TMZ that Kris Jenner, 66, decided to hold off on having a big Christmas celebration, but still plans on gathering with all her children and grandchildren to celebrate the Yuletide.
While the celebrations will reportedly only include immediate family, it wasn’t clear if Kim Kardashian’s estranged husband Kanye West would be joining for the fun. She and West share four children: North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 3, and 2-year-old Psalm.
It is also unclear if Kim’s new beau Pete Davidson would be tagging along, though it wouldn’t be surprising considering how much time they’ve been spending with each other in both Staten Island and in California ahead of the holidays.
A rep for the Kardashian family did not immediately respond to our request for comment.
Last year, the famous family canceled their yearly Christmas soirée because of the pandemic.
“The Covid cases are getting out of control in CA. So we decided that we’re not doing a Christmas Eve party this year,” Khloé Kardashian shared at the time, adding “It’s the first time we will not be having a Christmas Eve party since 1978 I believe.”
She added, “Health and safety first though! Taking this pandemic seriously is a must.”
And now, for the second year in a row, their Christmas Eve will be more low-key than in the past.
The Kardashian-Jenner Christmas parties have always made a splash and have played host to several celebrities over the years including Paris Hilton, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, Jennifer Lopez, Toni Braxton, Sia, and Dave Chappelle.
