Floyd Mayweather drops $18K on custom mink car seat for grandson
Floyd Mayweather is known to spend a bag on the finer things in life, from an $18 million watch to $80,000 worth of Hermès Birkin bags.
And while the boxing champ recently dropped more than $345,000 on a 2022 Rolls-Royce Cullinan — complete with mink fur seats and flooring — he didn’t stop there.
To ensure his 1-year-old grandson can ride in style as well, “Money” Mayweather also commissioned a matching mink car seat worth a cool $18,000, as first reported by TMZ.
The controversial athlete went to Obi Okeke, who goes by Doctor Bugatti, for both the car seat and the other fur accents throughout his valuable vehicle.
The seat has Mayweather’s godson’s name, Kentrell Jr., stitched on the headrest in a neon font that perfectly matches the car’s bright lime interior. There’s also two cupholders, so the tot can enjoy a duo of beverages at once.
Mayweather gave fans a sneak peek at his new whip’s star-lined roof and fluorescent leather last week, but the new mink details weren’t visible in the clip.
The sports legend’s multimillion-dollar car collection includes multiple other Rolls-Royces as well as Bugattis, Lamborghinis and more than a few Mercedes.
It’s not the first time he’s treated Kentrell Jr. — the son of Mayweather’s oldest daughter, Iyanna (also known as YaYa), and rapper NBA YoungBoy — to a lavish gift.
When the baby was just five weeks old, he received a diamond-encrusted Rolex worth about $45,000 from his grandpa.
