Trevor Noah, Julia Fox and other stars celebrate Law Roach’s CFDA win
Trevor Noah and Julia Fox were among guests celebrating CFDA winner Law Roach at New York hot spot Temple Bar on Monday night.
Spies told us Noah “looked great” in a “great suit” after the fashion awards. “He was in a super good mood and friendly,” they said.
The Only Agency hosted the party to celebrate Roach, who received the first CFDA Stylist Award earlier in the night. Sources told us that the cool cocktail lounge in Noho erupted into an impromptu dance party.
“The floor was packed! Jaden [Smith] was the first person ever to get up on one of [the] banquettes to dance,” they said.
We hear designer Prabal Gurung, stylist Tina Leung and fashion fixture Ezra William were also hanging out on the crowded floor.
Derek Blasberg chatted with Natasha Lyonne at a corner table, while Roach “huddled at another table with his sister,” we’re told.
Laquan Smith, Christian Siriano, CFDA president Steven Kolb and fashion ‘OG’ Bethann Hardison — who arrived with Willy Chavarria — were also there to fete Roach.
If the Met gala is considered the Oscars of fashion, the CFDA Awards is its Golden Globes.
Roach’s long list of celebrity clients has included Celine Dion, Zendaya and Kerry Washington — who attended the show and presented Roach with the award.
Washington captioned a photo in Instagram: “Congratulations to my dear friend @luxurylaw for winning the FIRST EVER CFDA Stylist award! You have dedicated your life to helping others shine. It was an honor to turn that light on YOU and the magic you bring into the world! Love you!”
