Page Six broke the news Wednesday that Madonna, 64, was found unresponsive Saturday and rushed to a New York City hospital, where she was intubated in the ICU.

The “Vogue” singer’s longtime manager, Guy Oseary, shared on Instagram that his client had “developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several day stay in the ICU.”

The Queen of Pop was hospitalized this week after developing a bacterial infection.

A source close to Madonna later told us that she was transferred out of the ICU and expected to make a full recovery.

A separate source told Page Six exclusively that in the weeks leading up to Madge’s hospitalization, she had been “strenuously rehearsing” at Nassau Coliseum for her now-postponed “Celebration” tour.

“She had been putting in 12-hour days,” the insider shared. “She was strenuously rehearsing and putting in the work.”

Although the international tour has been delayed, another source told us Madonna has every intention of hitting the road when she fully recovers.

“Madonna doesn’t want to cancel her tour,” the insider shared. “She was having a blast in rehearsals and wants to get back to it when she’s ready.”

“Celebration,” which the Grammy winner announced in January, was expected to feature her greatest hits from 1982 to today in honor of the 40th anniversary of her music career.
