Gigi Hadid shows daughter Khai’s blond hair in rare photos celebrating 3rd birthday
Gigi Hadid’s mini-me is growing up.
The notoriously private model gave fans a rare glimpse of her daughter Khai’s blond hair while celebrating the little one’s 3rd birthday in New York.
“Have been celebrating our THREE YR OLD this week & just so honored to get to be her mama, to get to see life through her !!!!” she captioned a photo dump on Instagram Wednesday.
“Happy Birthday to my sweetest, smartest, spunkiest bestie !!!!!!!! DREAM KID / love of my life.”
In one of the snaps, Hadid, 28, covered Khai’s face with a rainbow emoji. However, she showed off the toddler’s full head of bright blond locks — just like her mom’s.
The catwalker, who shares her daughter with ex Zayn Malik, also included a picture of the youngster painting her mother’s toenails in a variety of bright colors.
“This is my pedicure going into Milan Fashion Week,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
Other snaps revealed Khai had a “Frozen”-themed celebration that included a large cake decorated with characters from the Disney film, along with a snaps of Gigi’s dad, Mohamed Hadid, holding an Olaf balloon.
The Guest in Residence founder also shared a few throwbacks, including pics of the mother-daughter duo at a beach, snuggling in bed when Khai was a newborn and celebrating her 1st birthday.
“Greatest gift of all,” Gigi’s mom, Yolanda Hadid, commented.
“Oh Mama! Can’t believe she’s 3 already HBD,” Kate Hudson chimed in.
Over the weekend, Bella Hadid and Blake Lively were seen helping Khai celebrate when Gigi threw a slime-themed birthday bash at the interactive museum Sloomoo Institute.
“Attendees were able to immerse themselves in the experiential play creating their own custom slimes and even getting slimed at ‘Sloomoo Falls,’” a source told Page Six following the party.
It’s unclear whether Malik, 30, was in attendance; however, he and Gigi have maintained an amicable co-parenting relationship since their breakup in October 2021.
They called it quits after Yolanda, 59, accused the One Direction alum of striking her during an altercation at her Pennsylvania home. Malik vehemently denied the allegation.
The singer was sentenced to nearly a year of probation and ordered to attend programs offering education on anger management.
“Gigi is solely focused on the best for Khai. She asks for privacy during this time,” her rep said at the time.
The Victoria’s Secret model has largely remained mum when asked about her co-parenting situation, though she made a rare comment last year, telling the Times of London that she plans her work schedule around when Khai “is with her dad.”
“That she can be with both parents makes me very happy,” she added.
Malik, for his part, discussed his role as a father during an interview on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast over the summer.

“That’s why I’m even doing this interview, you know?”

The “Pillowtalk” crooner dated Gigi on and off for almost six years before they welcomed their baby girl in September 2020.
Following their split, the model was romantically linked to Leonardo DiCaprio. However, it’s unclear whether the pair are still involved.
