Brynn Whitfield is sending her ‘RHONY’ co-stars this ‘annoying’ holiday gift: A ‘very me thing to do’
When it comes to holiday gift giving, Brynn Whitfield has plenty of cards up her sleeve.
The Bravo star, who recently partnered with CB2, tells Page Six Style she’s planning to mail each of her “Real Housewives of New York” castmates a greeting card that sings the “Chipmunk Song” … and never stops.
“There’s no battery [and] if you try to rip it apart it’s kind of indestructible,” she quips of the “annoying” musical gift.
“There’s no way you can destroy it … It won’t shut off for, I think, 18 hours.”
While Whitfield admits that the “practical joke” present is a “very me thing to do,” however, not everyone on her shopping list will be mailed a never-ending chipmunk cacophony.

“I think perfume is always fabulous to give,” says the star, who’ll be wrapping up her signature scent, Frédéric Malle’s Portrait of a Lady ($95).
And while her own holiday plans include kicking back in her cozy J.Crew PJs ($118 $106), she’s also decking the halls with party-ready essentials like the CB2 Pierce Champagne Stand ($149 $119).
“It’s just design that doesn’t go out of style,” she says. “I think everyone needs a champagne bucket, even if you have a small apartment.”
As for what she’s getting herself this season? While she often treats herself to rare novels — “I love the fact that they’ve managed to stand the test of time in this disposable world,” she says — wrapping up special jewelry is also a hit in her (figurative) book.
“There’s a little Cartier wristwatch, the one I think that Princess Diana wore,” she says. “I love it.”
Her all-time favorite gift she’s received, however, was a gem of a different kind.
“[It] was a Willem de Kooning lithograph [from an ex-boyfriend],” she recalls. It was very, very beautiful … I gave it back to him, and now I’m friends with his wife. They have it in their house.”
While Whitfield says she plans to start looking into some lithographs herself soon, gifting isn’t the only thing she has down to a fine art this holiday season; she’s also armed with plenty of flirting advice for those ringing in the new year solo.
“I would encourage every single gal to use this time of year as like a pickup line,” says the star.
“It’s a flirty text … like, ‘Who are you going to kiss on New Year’s?’ I think it’s very cute.”
