Jessel Taank on what she’s giving her ‘RHONY’ co-stars for the holidays — and her top gift from Andy Cohen
You won’t find “Christmas tree” lingerie under Jessel Taank’s tannenbaum this year.
The “Real Housewives of New York” star — who once famously likened a silk slip Jenna Lyons gifted her to a festive fir — tells Page Six Style that when it comes to lingerie, she’d love to unwrap something from Skims this year.
“It’s minimal, it’s sexy, but it’s not [like] more traditional lingerie” she says of the Kim Kardashian-helmed brand’s “no-brainer” bustiers, like the Stretch Satin Corset ($68).
It’s not the only stylish score the fashion-industry fixture — who’ll soon launch her own e-commerce platform, Ōushq — has up her sleeve. She’s also a fan of “the most beautiful earrings” from Deepa Gurnani and Makeup by Mario’s Surreal Skin Concealer ($29).
“My makeup artist started using it on me and I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is insane,’” she says of the latter.
Her lucky giftees can also expect to unwrap colorful travel books from Assouline — “the most thoughtful gift to give someone” — plus a “perfect for winter” Fly By Jing Hot Pot Starter Set ($130 $104).

And while her and husband Pavit Taank’s toddlers, Kai and Rio, will be getting Bombas Gripper Socks ($26 $17) come Christmas morning, they’ve already given the little ones a gift sure to have knocked their socks off.
“We kind of effed up … Pavit is like a big kid and he could not wait,” says Taank, explaining that her spouse surprised the twins with their remote-control Mercedes-Benz toys “two weeks ago.”
While her “Real Housewives of New York” co-stars won’t be getting mini cars this Christmas, their surprises are sure to drive conversation; Taank says she’s giving the ladies Sleeper Party Pajamas ($395 $234) like the ones she wore during their cast trip to Anguilla.
As for the most memorable gifts she’s unwrapped herself since joining the Bravosphere? Tank recalls receiving a “Tiffany apple” when she wrapped filming, as well as a varsity jacket emblazoned with “Real Housewives” and her name when she joined the cast.
“It was from Andy, so it was almost like the ‘welcome to the family’-type thing,” she says of the latter, quipping it’s a “surefire conversation starter” whenever she wears it.
But some of her greatest gifts from the “Housewives” world have taken less tangible forms.
Since her 2014 wedding, nearly a decade before cameras started rolling, Taank found herself wishing “there was a beautiful e-commerce platform, sort of like Moda Operandi or Net-a-Porter, with a curation of designers coming out of India — just an easier way to discover fashion.”
Now that she’s launching just that with Ōushq, Taank says she’s “very lucky” to be able to text co-stars like Lyons for tips.
“Jenna is such a bright spark when it comes to business,” says the fashion founder. “She was one of the people that … when I was ideating, I really connected with her on the right move and what to do.”
