Gwyneth Paltrow is ‘weirdly very into Spanx’
When it comes to over-the-top present picks and viral votives, Goop’s got the scoop.
But not everything in Gwyneth Paltrow’s closet is meant to shock; she recently admitted on Instagram that she’s a major fan of workout clothing from Spanx.
When asked about her go-to exercise attire in a recent Instagram “travel day AMA,” she replied, “Weirdly I am very into @spanx.”
While she shared a photo of herself wearing what appears to be the brand’s bold red Booty Boost Active Contour Rib Leggings ($118), it’s not the first time she’s snapped selfies in the stretchy styles.
In September, Paltrow sported the original version of the Booty Boost Active Leggings ($98) — designed for a “built-in booty lift” — in burnt orange, matching it to her AirEssentials Half Zip ($128).
She’s not the only star sporting Spanx, either; the latter style, along with the matching AirEssentials Wide Leg Pant ($138), has made Oprah’s “Favorite Things” list two years in a row — a rare honor for a product.

On her 2022 list, she declared the styles her “new leisure suit,” writing that the “perfectly loose-and-lightweight fabric is like buttah!”
She continued the rave review on her 2023 roundup, gushing, “Wow. Wow. Wow … I wore it in a photo shoot for ‘O Quarterly’ and never looked back. This is the most comfortable fabric.”
Katy Perry, Kris Jenner and Kelly Clarkson (to name but a few) are all among Spanx’s famous fans, too.
And Page Six Style editors also approve of the brand’s workwear, as several staffers put the brand’s Perfect Pant collection — another of Oprah’s “Favorite Things” — to the test last month.
