WAG makeup artist Allison Kaye spills her hacks for game-day glam with ‘staying power’

When it comes to perfecting WAGs’ game-day makeup looks, Allison Kaye is at the top of her game.
The makeup artist has worked with scores of athletes and celebs over the years, from glamming up Donna Kelce and Simone Biles to prepping eight Kansas City Chiefs players’ significant others for the 2025 Super Bowl.
“I didn’t chose this life, this life chose me,” Kaye quips to Page Six Style, saying she never expected a 2021 chance gig with quarterback Mac Jones’ girlfriend, Sophia Scott, would become “this huge thing with me flying out to teams and glamming them for games.”
And while the beauty whiz travels with “a wagon” for all of her products, there’s a handful of holy grails she never leaves home without. Below, discover six of her absolute essentials — plus, her hacks for makeup that stays all day.
Neewer LED Lighting Kit

“I always have a professional light with me; it’s definitely something that I could not live without. It [helps me] take great photos and can really show me the makeup even in the worst hotel room lightings I’ve ever been in. I always have it.”
Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer

“Milk primer is my go-to. I’ve used it for a long, long time.”
Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink Lip Color

“I have little tips or secrets to get lip colors to stay longer. Sometimes, I’ll mix a liquid matte with a regular lipstick … It gives a better staying power.”
Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

“For setting spray, I use a combination of two. I use Urban Decay because that’s a wet setting spray, and then I let it dry. Then I take Patrick Starrr’s One/Size setting spray and do that on top of it.”
Yves Saint Laurent Lash Clash Extreme Volume Mascara

“My No. 1 [mascara] would be YSL. It’s so good.”
Revlon Super Lustrous Glimmer Gloss

“I think that sometimes we don’t need to stray away from drugstore [products] … Revlon came out with these new glosses and they’re super beautiful. If I’m looking for a little bit more shine, I like to use those.”
