The Chainsmokers perform at ‘Dancing Queen’ star Marcella Raneri’s extravagant engagement party

Marcella Raneri got engaged in February — and she wanted “Something Just Like This” for her celebratory party.
The Chainsmokers performed at the “Dancing Queen” star and her fiancé Daniel Nutkis’ extravagant bash in Dallas, Texas, on Saturday.
Alex Pall and Drew Taggart surprised the 300-plus guests at the event, held at the Ritz-Carlton, with a midnight set.
The DJ duo played their hit songs, including “Closer,” while acrobats, dancers and a band put on a show on the dance floor.
“RuPaul’s Drag Race” alum Alyssa Edwards and more influencers were present for the over-the-top occasion.
Partygoers ate from sushi, barbecue and more food stations, also enjoying a live portrait artist and an immersive photo booth.
Event planner LGP Elite Experiences worked with Roni Floral Design, which played a part in Sofia Richie’s 2023 wedding, to beautify the space for Raneri and Nutkis.
The company used 200,000 flowers in the venue.
The “So You Think You Can Dance” alum told her Instagram followers in February that Nutkis had gotten down on one knee.
“current mood: engaged 💍🤍🥺,” she wrote at the time.
The choreographer did not provide details of the HITRUST CEO’s proposal but did show off her massive teardrop-shaped diamond in a black-and-white selfie.
Raneri is a former Dallas Mavericks dancer, best known for her time on Netflix’s “Dancing Queen.”
