Nara Smith’s kitchen essentials include a retro toaster and the cutest tea kettle
Ever wonder what your favorite celebrities buy when they’re browsing their favorite boutique or shopping online late at night? Welcome to Six Picks, where we ask stars to spill their style and beauty must-haves — so you can shop like you’re famous, too.
Nara Smith is serving made-from-scratch meals — and serving looks.
“I love dressing up and using my wardrobe when I cook,” the model, content creator and mother of four tells Page Six Style. “I love both fashion and cooking, so I thought why not mix them?”
Smith’s 17 million combined TikTok and Instagram followers have watched her prepare gnocchi while wearing Schiaparelli, blend homemade hot sauce in Balmain and create a döner kebab while clad in a Jean Paul Gaultier cone-bra dress. Somehow, she never dirties her designer looks in the process.
“The mess occurs usually when I eat the meal with the kids,” she jokes. “I’m grateful to have [my husband] Lucky, who is very tidy and helps with the cleanup.”
Keeping things neat in the kitchen partially inspired Smith’s first-ever culinary product launch: Nara’s Roasted Garlic Oil, a limited-edition infused oil created in collaboration with Algae Cooking Club.

“I love garlic, but I hate sticky garlic fingers. I tried every trick and every hack, and somehow, my fingers still reeked of garlic after cooking,” she tells us.
“So I did what any normal person would do — I made a roasted garlic oil from scratch with only the best ingredients: farmers market garlic, yuzu flown in from Japan, charred scallions, a touch of white miso and the purest oil I could find — algae oil. And who would I be if I didn’t make some extra for you as well?”
