As Page Six’s Style & Shopping Director, I test a lot of beauty products, but it’s not often that one becomes a staple in my everyday routine.

That’s especially true when it comes to mascara; all too often, I try versions that promise drama but clump like crazy or leave inky smudges beneath my eyes by early afternoon. Formulas made for a more natural look, meanwhile, typically leave me looking like I’m not wearing mascara at all (a waste of money, if you ask me).

So when Armani Beauty — the brand behind my favorite foundation and liquid blush — launched its new Vertigo Lift Mascara earlier this year, I tried to manage my expectations. Could a mascara really lengthen, lift and volumize my lashes without smudging, smearing or clumping?

Turns out, absolutely. The formula feels silky-smooth and builds beautifully; even a single coat makes my eyes pop, though three is my personal magic number for perfect lashes.

I’ve worn Vertigo Lift basically every day since I received my tube, and haven’t reached for any of my other (many, many) mascaras since. And somehow, it’s never once clumped or transferred to my lower lash line, even after 12+ hours of wear. Bye-bye, raccoon eyes!

The magic must be in the Infinity-Loop brush, which is made from silicone and does a bang-up job of coating and separating every lash, sort of like an itty-bitty comb.

As for the formula itself, it’s infused with arginine amino acids, so lashes feel flexible and strong after application rather than crunchy and stiff; I’m thinking this helps prevent it from flaking, too.

Don’t just take my word for it, though; Vertigo Lift‘s racked up close to 1,000 glowing reviews online, too.

One shopper called it “the only one you need,” writing: “I have tried what seems like every mascara on the market. This is the best one out there! Finally, length, the right shade and formula, no flaking, smudging or smearing even in rain!”

Another praised its “exceptional coverage and lift,” while a third even called it a “masterpiece” and a “game changer.”

If you’re looking for long, fluttery, perfectly defined lashes sans clumps, give it a try. This mascara just might become your new favorite, too.

This cult-favorite foundation is seriously worth the hype. I can’t get enough of the luminous finish, the lightweight feel and the buildable, blurring coverage — plus, it never breaks out my sensitive, acne-prone skin. I like to apply it with my hands, but a brush or sponge works too.

I can’t get enough of this liquid blush; my favorite shade is Magnetic Mauve, which has the slightest hint of shimmer for a radiant finish. It’s so pigmented that you only need a dot or two per cheek — which means a single tube will last you ages — and is a cinch to blend and build up as you see fit.

Can you tell I love a liquid makeup product? These eye tints are so easy to apply and blend; they go on like butter, truly. I’m partial to the shimmery neutral shades, but the brand offers matte and metallic options, too.
