Oprah wore these joggers ‘every day’ last summer: ‘100% live in them’
While landing on Oprah Winfrey’s “Favorite Things” list is an honor for any brand, making it two times is twice as nice.
And Maison Wheat did just that this year, scoring shoutouts for both its Memphis Long Sleeve V-Neck Tee and Los Angeles Jogger — the latter of which Oprah said she “100% live[s] in” and wore “every day hiking in Telluride last summer.”
“We’re really so excited and so honored to have not just one but two items on the list … as a younger emerging brand, we’re really grateful to be a part of it,” Molly Shaheen — who co-founded the brand with her husband, “Pretty Little Liars” star Huw Collins — tells Page Six Style.

While it’s the duo’s first time appearing on the official list, Oprah initially discovered Collins and Shaheen through Maison Wheat’s sister label, The Shop by Wheat, which creates luxury items stocked in five-star hotels like the Four Seasons and the Ritz-Carlton.
“Oprah had been staying in some hotels where the brand is sold … and she had wanted some of our fragrances,” Shaheen tells us, saying she and her husband were so “honored,” they even made her a special custom candle.

“She wrote us a really nice handwritten note, which was very sweet,” says Collins, recalling they also sent their fragrances to Beyoncé the same week.
The two icons aren’t the only ones crazy in love with the brand, though; Gayle King wears her beloved Memphis Tee on repeat, while everyone from Katy Perry to Dame Judi Dench has sported other styles from the label.

“I think it exemplifies what makes the brand so universal and translatable across so many different types of people,” says Collins, adding that Dench calling the store a “triumph” is still one of his all-time favorite moments.
He’s not the only “Pretty Little Liars” alum scoring rave reviews from fellow celebs these days, however, as Shay Mitchell’s Béis brand also appeared on Oprah’s list this year.

“I think it’s the first year that two ‘PLL’ people’s items have been on the list, which is kind of cool,” he says. “I was gonna reach out to Shay and just congratulate her and let her know that maybe something [can be] in the works in the future, who knows?”
After all, both stars are building empires based on luxury travel — and taking off in a major way.
“We’re in the hotels where so many celebrities stay,” Shaheen adds. “When people can have anything and they choose your product, it’s so gratifying and exciting because you know these people have seen it all.”
