Lauren Sánchez parties in Aspen in vintage Dior and a $50K Hermès bag
Lauren Sánchez packed her après-ski best for her 56th birthday celebrations in Aspen over the weekend.
The former journalist stepped out with husband Jeff Bezos on Sunday in a burgundy Christian Dior coat designed by John Galliano for the fashion house’s fall 2000 collection.
The velvet coat was trimmed with lamb fur at the collar, cuffs and hips. It featured a fit-and-flare silhouette and a subtle floral print. A similar style recently sold for $9,200 on 1stDibs.
Sánchez completed her cold-weather look with black leggings, a V-neck top and chunky heeled boots — and added a wide-brim black hat that matched her billionaire husband’s cowboy-style topper.
On her arm? What appeared to be a black crocodile skin Hermès Kelly 25 bag, which, according to Sotheby’s, typically fetches between $40,000 and $60,000.
It’s far from the first time she’s toted a pricey Hermès while out with Bezos, 61. During their Venice wedding weekend in June, she was spotted carrying the ultra-rare Kelly Midas, an 18-karat gold-handled version worth up to a quarter of a million dollars.
Bezos, for his part, dressed for the Colorado weather in a Tom Ford Calf Leather Shearling-Trim Bomber Jacket ($11,800), jeans and dark sunglasses.
Before jetting to Aspen, Sánchez celebrated her birthday on Friday with a lavish holiday party attended by Khloé Kardashian and Kris Jenner.
Kardashian shared snaps from the festivities on Instagram, captioning them, “The perfect night hosted by @laurensanchezbezos. Lauren, you are simply THE BEST. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas 🎁🎄 ♥️.”
The philanthropist has been pulling out her best designer wardrobe in the lead-up to her birthday. Last week, Sánchez stepped out in an outfit worth over $30,000 for a girls’ night with reality star Brooks Nader at Los Angeles restaurant Alba.
That look included a blue Schiaparelli coat (originally $10,200) and a crystal-covered Chanel sphere bag that retailed for $20,900.
