Inside Bad Bunny’s soundcheck ahead of controversial Super Bowl halftime show
Bad Bunny will be under scrutiny when he takes the stage at the Super Bowl Sunday — but he didn’t give away any hints at his top secret soundcheck, Page Six Hollywood exclusively hears.
Said a rabbit-eared spy close to the action yesterday, “They only have one photographer there from Roc Nation, they don’t want anyone there. Bad Bunny — he’s in, he’s out. It’s like the quickest soundcheck, he does a real quick thing and then he’s out. It’s like one take, and that’s it!”

During a news conference, the artist was asked if he’ll have any surprises during the show, to which he fired back, “You know that’s something I’m not going to tell you. I don’t know why you ask that.”
The star, who just won three Grammys, added, “I just want to have fun, it’s going to be a huge party … I don’t want to give spoilers, people only need to worry about dancing. They don’t even have to learn Spanish, it’s better if they dance but there’s no better dance that comes from the heart… Of course, choose your team at the game.”
There’s some controversy around his appearance and fans have been wondering if he’ll make any political speeches from the stage after he said, “ICE out,” at the Grammys. We previously told you that NFL commish Roger Goodell doesn’t expect too many political fireworks from Bad Bunny’s performance: “Listen, Bad Bunny is… one of the great artists in the world and that’s one of the reasons we chose him. But the other reason is he understood the platform he was on and this platform is used to unite people and to be able to bring people together with their creativity, with their talents and to be able to use this moment to do that and I think artists in the past have done that.”
