Academy Award winning writer and filmmaker is latest to leave CAA for WME
Academy Award winning writer and filmmaker Graham Moore has signed with WME for representation in all areas, Page Six Hollywood has learned, marking yet another A-list defection from CAA as the fallout from three top film agents jumping from CAA to WME back in November continues to unfold.

Moore, who won an Academy Award for “The Imitation Game,” is rejoining longtime agent Trevor Astbury who departed CAA along with Adam Schweitzer and Matt Martin. The three agents brought a clutch of top talent with them including Cillian Murphy and Christoph Waltz. On Thursday, Deadline reported that writer and filmmaker Eric Appel had also signed with WME and is rejoining his agent, Martin.
Sources tell P6H that Moore and Appel were both open to staying at CAA and held several meetings. Evidently it wasn’t quite enough. They also checked out UTA. WME declined to comment.
