After the pandemic forced Halloween-loving stars to scale back their celebrations last year, they poured all that pent-up spooky energy into their 2021 costumes, delivering spot-on tributes to their favorite superheroes, streaming series and pop superstars.
Some celebs made awesome use of special effects — like Lizzo as Baby Yoda, Ariana Grande as “Miss Creature From the Black Lagoon” and The Weeknd as Don Vito Corleone from “The Godfather.”
Others channeled their favorite fellow superstars, with Hailey Baldwin paying tribute to Britney Spears, Yara Shahidi dressing up as Aaliyah and Ciara transforming into all three members of TLC.
And still more famous names opted for a family affair: Cardi B and daughter Kulture donned matching witch costumes, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s crew cosplayed the Addams Family, and Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka’s kids joined in on their salute to classic horror cinema.
