Taylor Swift’s butt-grabbing DJ gets bomb threat at new job
David Mueller is having a rough first week at his new job at a Mississippi radio station.
Mueller, who infamously groped Taylor Swift and subsequently lost a sexual assault case against her, had to be evacuated from KIX 92.7 after someone emailed a bomb threat, TMZ reported. Police and bomb-sniffing dogs searched the building but found nothing.
The threatening email appeared to be directly related to Mueller’s hiring, according to TMZ. No arrests have been made.
Mueller’s new gig is his first job since being fired from his $150,000-a-year job at KYGO FM in Denver after a 2013 incident in which he was accused of reaching up Swift’s skirt and grabbing her butt. He sued Swift for his firing and the subsequent damage to his reputation.
Last August a Denver jury sided with Swift and said she was well within her rights to contact Mueller’s boss.
Swift won a symbolic $1 and then pledged to financially support sexual assault survivors’ causes.
