Artie Lange is taking his recovery one day at a time.

“I’m back guys. Clean & Sober 32 days. One day at a time,” the troubled comedian tweeted Friday. “Thx to u guys. The greatest fans in the world. I love you all for not forgetting me. To the ones who did. I’m so sorry. I’m a [junkie]. But a recovering one right now.”

“No matter what I promise u guys if get knocked down on the canvas I will always get up. Especially now cause Dan Falato’s helping me get up,” Lange, 50, added of his radio producer. “U will hear from us soon. Peace.”

In March 2017, the comedian was arrested in Hoboken, NJ for possession of heroin and cocaine. Last month, he was arrested for skipping court in relation to those charges. He told a radio show that he had gotten fired from Judd Apatow’s HBO series “Crashing” after the incident, but Apatow denied Lange’s claim.

Unfortunately, those weren’t Lange’s only issues in 2017.

In May, he was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia after allegedly being found with a bag of heroin on his lap after driving his Range Rover erratically on the Garden State Parkway.

Then in October, the former “Howard Stern Show” staple was hospitalized for low blood sugar and revealed that he had undergone emergency surgery in July for a chest infection stemming from years of drug abuse.
